ABOUT EGITA
Meet Your Therapist
Hello, I am Egita.
I’m a fully qualified CPCAB Therapeutic Counsellor, a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and an Accredited Professional Registrant with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). I am trauma-informed therapist with a humanistic approach. My work is grounded in understanding and addressing the impact of trauma while recognising each individual’s worth, dignity and capacity for healing.
I have undertaken specialised training in trauma therapy, enabling me to support adults who have survived sexual abuse. As a strong believer in the humanistic approach, I use it as the foundation of my work while also incorporating other therapeutic theories and methods to meet your individual needs and the challenges you may be facing.
I have volunteered with a national mental health organisation and a charity supporting survivors of sexual abuse.
I am committed to continually developing as a counsellor and strengthening my skills and knowledge through regular training as part of my continuing professional development (CPD). I follow the BACP Ethical Framework to ensure that I work professionally, ethically and safely.
I work in Rochester, Kent, and London, offering one-to-one sessions for adults either in person or online. Both short- and long-term counselling are available.
